Each volunteering event is typically linked to a meal where participants collectively share a meal to reflect on sustainability and conversation and the part, they can play to leave a better legacy.  There is no ‘set pattern’ for this and it can be adapted depending on the wishes of those participating. In the past it has included anything from a simple picnic or BBQ through to a black-tie dinner and Flagship Dinner. 

At each location the diners had all actively contributed to local conservation, environmental, or sustainability-focused activities, raised some money for a self-selected conservation or sustainability charity and pledged to improve their personal biosphere and legacy.

The Global Charge Dinner 2024

Building on a successful pilot in 2021, the flagship Global Charge Dinner held on October 19th 2023 at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, drew senior leaders, influential government advocates, sustainability and conservation champions from across the defence industry to inspire and to bring together all to #JoinTheCharge and #LeadTheCharge.

Shining a spotlight on hundreds of other events and dinners at sites across the globe, the dinner serves to emphasize the international scope of the challenge and motivate us to continue to accelerate our collective efforts to become more sustainable and protect the future of Earth and it’s inhabitants.

This year’s Flagship Dinner will be hosted in the iconic and historic venue of The Honourable Artillery Company.  It presents an exceptional opportunity for you to demonstrate your, and your organisation’s leadership role in addressing sustainability and conservation challenges.
